15/02/2010 - Diverse Leaders for Tomorrow

The Yorkshire and Humber diversity steering group created a new programme which aims to develop aspiring BME leaders for the 21^st Century.  We are pleased to announce that all of the applicants from Bradford schools were successful in being selected to commence the regional programme on 10^th February 2010.

“Diverse leaders for tomorrow” is a ground-breaking leadership programme targeting black and minority ethnic middle and senior leaders.  This programme explores how BME school leaders can lead differently and successfully.  It offers the opportunity for BME aspiring leaders to network, work collaboratively and to receive peer support guided by a regional team of successful BME leaders who are cognisant of the barriers to promotion that exist for BME professionals.

The programme explores how school leaders can lead differently to address the needs of the diverse communities within the region.  Education Bradford is pleased to be able to support this programme, and we will post any relevant updates on prospectsonline.co.uk
